Kids, get ready to plunge into a wild, creature-filled expedition as we discover the nature of God, grow in faith, and build friendships along the way at Vacation Bible School with Good Shepherd Irvine. Trek through exciting Bible-learning adventures, sing along to high-energy songs beneath the jungle canopy, craft creative keepsakes, and dive into action-packed games that will put your teamwork to the test. With all the hands-on fun—and maybe a few scienc-y experiments—be prepared to get a little messy, so dress for adventure in clothes you can move in, plus those sturdy closed-toe shoes!

FAQs

  • Vacation Bible School is a summer gathering hosted by Good Shepherd where children typically learn about the Bible through games, crafts, songs, and other activities. It's open to Kids age 4 by 6/22/26 to 5th grade Fall 2026.

  • For our pre-K through 5th grade kids, VBS takes place from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26, 2026 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

    If you are currently enrolled in a Full Day program at Good Shepherd Preschool, your child will participate in VBS-themed activities all week long!

  • Early Bird Pricing is offered through April 30 at the rate of $60 per child. We bump up to Standard Pricing at $75 per child beginning May 1. Registration closes on May 17.

    Children enrolled in our Preschool Full Day program will not pay additional costs to participate.

  • Kids age 4 by 6/22/26 to 5th grade Fall 2026 are invited to participate in our VBS program.

    For those who are older and would like to be involved, we have volunteer opportunities for you! The Servant Leader registration form will be live the week of April 12.

  • If your child is currently enrolled in Good Shepherd Preschool’s Full Day Program, you do NOT need to register. Your child will be participating in “Rainforest Falls” themed happenings all week long as part of their Preschool weekly schedule.

    For our children who will be graduating from Good Shepherd Preschool, we invite you to register! If your child is age 4 by 6/22/26 and/or they have a older sibling who is interested in attending, you can register by clicking the button above.

  • Yes! We have a variety of snacks, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available depending on your child’s needs. All snacks are nut-free as we are a nut-free campus.

    We kindly ask that you notify us of any allergies upon registering your child.

  • There are LOTS of ways you can get involved as part of VBS! Whether it be preparing stage decor, being a crew leader, or serving snacks - we have a place for you!

    The Servant Leader registration form will be live the week of April 12.
