WHAT IS MAN CAMP? So Cal Man Camp is a weekend mountain top experience designed for mens to connect with God, connect with other men, and connect to their church. It's a life changing weekend designed for men to be inspired and activated!
WHAT TO EXPECT: You can expect to have some amazing worship, powerful biblical messages, good grub, crazy fun and laughter, free time to connect to God and others, an epic Mancathlon, and so much more!
WHO IS IT FOR: This camp is for men, specifically designed for Southern California churches to send the men in Men's Ministries away to see their men transformed and return home ignited to follow Jesus and change their families, work places and local churches. The idea is to help men's church groups not have to plan, fund, and execute a men's retreat but to partner with MRC/Forest Home to join a camp perfect designed for men. This allows core leaders, and church staff time to invest relationships while at camp rather than hosting a retreat.
CHURCHES INVOLVED: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Harbor Point Church, Liberty Baptist Church, Mesa Church, Rock Harbor Church, The Crossing Church.

Backpack Donation Drive
Collecting June 15 & 22 on the Church Patio
Or submit donations through our Amazon Wish List
—
Alaska may be known for its natural beauty, but it's also one of the least church-attending states in the U.S.—a true mission field in need of hope and support. Each summer, a team from Good Shepherd travels to Anchorage to partner with Graceworks Alaska and lead a Vacation Bible School that brings the love of Jesus to local kids. This year, you can be part of the impact by donating backpacks!
This year, we’re aiming to collect 60 backpacks to bless the children we’ll serve.
Backpacks can be purchased through our Amazon Wish List or dropped off on the Church Patio Sunday Morning June 15 & 22. Help us equip kids in Anchorage with the supplies they need—and remind them they are seen, loved, and supported.

Bring the whole family and help us make this a joy-filled Father’s Day at Good Shepherd!
